Process Control
Automation Process control is the analysis, design and implementation of control systems to achieve certain objectives in process safety, production capacity and product quality.
The main objectives of process control applications are to operate any process in a safe and efficient manner under the desired conditions, to comply with environmental standards and to ensure product quality requirements. Thousands of process variables such as temperature, concentration and pressure must be measured and controlled in many large-scale integrated facilities such as oil refineries, chemical plants, paper mills, power plants. Process control systems allow changes on many other process variables such as flow rate to control these variables and allow the process to operate within the desired values.
